University College Birmingham comprises of two schools, which are responsible for delivering courses to students at all levels of study.

They are School of Business, Tourism and Creative Industries and School of Health, Sport and Food. 

Entry requirements


  • 5 GCSEs at grade 3, or grade D, or above, (or equivalent) plus evidence of having attempted two years of post GCSE study at level 3;
  • or International Secondary School Certificate (11th grade) with transcript;
  • or Reference letter with minimuim 1 year full-time employment stating start and end dates.
    • English Language IELTS 6.0 overall (5.5 in each section);
    • or Duolingo English Test 95-100 overall (85-90 in each section).


  • Level 3 BTEC Diploma // A-Levels // Foundation Degree;
  • or Titulo de Bachiler // International Baccalaureate Diploma with transcript;

The University has a dedicated service to help you find the accommodation that is right for you. Our specialist staff are available throughout the year, including the summer vacation. 

The accommodation service is available to all students who are enrolled at the University. You can request information and advice on any housing-related issue.

Our main contract is for 42 weeks from September to June, which includes the holiday periods.
